ProSoft MediPUL fabrics meet the standard for liquid barrier performance for Level 4 gowns. They have been tested for and passed ASTM F 1670-B and ASTM F1671, and are made locally here in the USA.
MediPUL provides a breathable, durable defense against liquid and pathogen penetration in medical protective clothing. It’s washable, long-lasting, and can be sterilized by autoclaving and irradiation.
- Passed the Viral penetration test ASTM 1671 – Resistance of materials used in Protective Clothing to penetration by Bloodborne Pathogens.
- Passed the Blood penetration test ASTM F 1670 – Resistance of materials used in Protective Clothing to penetration by Synthetic blood.
